Delivering Operational Benefits to Law Enforcement
  • Microfiche Records

Back Record Conversion is the term used to describe the process of transferring convictions from historic microfiche records to the Police National Computer, which is a national information system used by police forces.

This important work ensures that all convictions are available to the police to help them catch and prosecute offenders.

Convictions are also made available to the disclosure agencies to ensure that employment decisions are appropriately informed.
